Braised Pork with Carrot, Dried Tofu, and Shiitake Mushrooms

A savory and hearty stir-fry featuring tender pork, sweet carrots, chewy dried tofu, and earthy shiitake mushrooms, perfectly balanced with a rich soy-based sauce.

Steps

1. Soak dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes until softened, then slice. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant. 3. Add pork slices and cook until browned. 4. Add carrots, dried tofu, and shiitake mushrooms, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. 5. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil; mix well. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7. Cook for another 2 minutes until all ingredients are tender and flavors meld. 8. Garnish with chopped spring onion if desired and serve hot.
