Thai Spicy Stir-Fried Beef (Pad Ped Nua)

A traditional Thai stir-fry featuring tender beef slices cooked with aromatic herbs, fresh Thai chili, and bold red curry paste. This dish is rich in flavor, spicy, and perfect for a quick yet satisfying meal.

Steps

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or frying pan over medium heat. 2. Add the minced garlic and sliced chilies, stir-fry until fragrant. 3. Add the red curry paste and cook for 1 minute. 4. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until they start to brown. 5. Pour in the coconut milk, fish sauce, soy sauce, and palm sugar. Stir well to combine. 6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the beef is cooked through and sauce thickens slightly. 7. Toss in the Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted. 8. Remove from heat and serve immediately with steamed jasmine rice.
