Garlic Butter Beef Steak with Herb Roasted Potatoes

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). 2. Toss diced potatoes with olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking tray. 3. Roast potatoes in the oven for 25 minutes, turning halfway. 4. Season beef steak with salt and pepper on both sides. 5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter. 6. When butter melts and foams, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. 7. Add steak to skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time to preferred doneness. 8. Remove steak and let it rest for 5 minutes. 9. Serve steak with herb roasted potatoes, garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
