Crispy Pancake Arab Appetizer

A delicious pancake appetizer made of a base of chickpea flour, garlic and onion. Comes out super crispy and flavorful.

Steps

1. In a bowl, mix together the chickpea flour, garlic, onion powder, cumin, salt and pepper with the water until it's homogeneously blended. 2. Heat the oil in a non-stick skillet (over medium heat). 3. Pour 1/8 of the batter in the center of the skillet and spread it out to form a thin circular pancake. 4. Cook the pancake for 1 minute on one side and 30 seconds on the other. 5. Repeat the steps until all the batter is used.

- 1/2 cup chickpea flour - 1/2 cup water - 1 tsp garlic - 1/2 tsp onion powder - 1/4 tsp cumin - Salt and pepper to taste - 2 tsp cooking oil
