Steps
1. Heat the butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
4. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
5. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley or dill.
6. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into serving dishes or onto plates.
7. Spoon the garlic-lemon shrimp mixture over the avocado.
8. Drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and garnish with extra herbs if desired.
9. Serve immediately as a refreshing appetizer.
