Steps
1. Rinse the buckwheat groats under cold water.
2. In a small pot, bring water to a boil with a pinch of salt.
3. Add the buckwheat groats, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until water is absorbed and groats are tender.
4. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff the kasha with a fork and transfer to a serving bowl.
6. Top with cottage cheese and fresh berries.
7. Drizzle honey over the top if desired.
8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve warm.
