Steps
1. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
4. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
6. Punch down the dough and roll out to your desired pizza shape and thickness.
