Garlic Butter Lobster Tail

A succulent lobster tail roasted to perfection with a rich garlic butter sauce. This dish highlights the sweet, tender meat of lobster enhanced by aromatic herbs and citrus zest.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). 2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise. 3. Gently lift the lobster meat out, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell. 4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. 5. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture. 6. Place the lobster tail on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. 7. Roast in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through. 8. Remove from oven, spoon more garlic butter over the lobster, and garnish with a lemon wedge. 9. Serve immediately.
