Steps

1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 3. Add diced tomatoes to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften. 4. Season with salt and black pepper. 5. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the pan with tomatoes. 6. Add chopped basil and mix well to combine. 7. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
