Pan-Seared Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce

Steps

1. Season the cod fillet with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. 3. Add the cod fillet to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. 4. Remove the cod from the pan and set aside. 5. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. 6. Stir in lemon juice and cook for another minute. 7. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cod fillet. 8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
