Pan-Seared Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce

A delicious and healthy main dish featuring tender cod fillets cooked to perfection and served with a tangy lemon butter sauce.

Steps

1. Season the cod fillet with salt and pepper on both sides. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 3. Add the cod fillet to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and easily flakes with a fork. 4. Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside. 5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 6. Add the lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic and butter. 7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has slightly thickened. 8. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked cod fillet. 9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
