Steps
1. Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crisp.
4. Flip salmon and add butter and garlic to the pan.
5. Spoon melted garlic butter over salmon as it cooks for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
6. Remove salmon and keep warm.
7. In the same pan, add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
8. Drizzle asparagus with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper.
9. Plate salmon with asparagus, spoon remaining garlic butter over top, and garnish with parsley if desired.
