Steps

1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and mushrooms and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes. 2. Add the garlic, dried thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes. 3. Pour in the vegetable broth and let it simmer for 5 minutes, until slightly reduced. 4. Toss in the cooked pasta and stir until well coated with the sauce. 5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
