Spicy Mango Pickle Iced Tea

This bold and innovative iced tea combines the robust flavors of black tea with the tangy, spicy essence of mango pickle. A splash of lemon and a hint of sweetness from jaggery create a refreshing beverage that’s perfect for the adventurous palate.

Steps

1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. 2. Add the mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds; let them simmer for about 2 minutes to infuse the flavors. 3. Stir in the black tea leaves, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes. 4. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the solids. 5. While the tea is still warm, add the jaggery (or honey) and stir until dissolved. 6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled. 7. Once chilled, stir in the lemon juice. 8. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
