Steps
1. In a bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky.
2. Add chickpea flour, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley if using.
3. Mix well, adding a small amount of water as needed to form a thick, moldable mixture.
4. Shape the mixture into a small patty.
5. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
6. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove from heat and serve warm.
