Steps

1. Heat the cooking fat in a pot over medium heat. 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent. 3. Add the chicken cubes and beef bits, cook until browned on all sides. 4. Stir in the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. 5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well to combine (optional for thicker stew). 6. Add the diced potatoes, paprika, thyme, black pepper, and salt. 7. Pour in the chicken broth or water, bring to a boil. 8. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are tender and meat is cooked through. 9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
