Steps

1. Rinse clams under cold water to remove any sand. 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 4. Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer. 5. Add clams to the skillet, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-7 minutes until clams open. 6. Discard any unopened clams. 7. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with fresh parsley. 8. Squeeze lemon wedge over clams before serving.
