Garlic Butter Mushroom Rice

A savory and comforting one-pot dish featuring fluffy rice cooked with garlic-infused butter and sautéed mushrooms, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Steps

1. Rinse the rice under cold water until water runs clear. 2. In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. 3. Add the rice and a pinch of salt, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. While rice is cooking, heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. 5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. 6. Add sliced mushrooms, cook for 5-7 minutes until softened and browned. 7. Season mushrooms with salt and black pepper. 8. Once rice is cooked, fluff with a fork and mix in the garlic butter mushrooms. 9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
