Steps

1. Pound the chicken breast until it's about 1/4 inch thick. 2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. 3. In another dish, beat the egg. 4. Place the breadcrumbs in a third dish. 5. Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. 6. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. 7. Cook the breaded pickles until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside. 8. Dip the chicken breast into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. 9. Place the breaded chicken in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. 10. Serve the crispy pickle chicken with the breaded pickles on top for extra crunchiness.
