Steps

1. In a wide saucepan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbling. 2. Add the fish fillet to the saucepan and sear for about 5 minutes until golden crisp. 3. Flip the fish carefully and sear on the other side for 5 more minutes. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
