Bread and Onion Potato Pie

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Place bread in a food processor and mix until a fine crumb forms. 3. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. 4. Peel and dice onion and add it to the pan. Cook until onion is softened and lightly browned. 5. Peel and cube potatoes and add them to the pan. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes. 6. Add remaining tablespoon of butter to the pan and stir until melted. 7. Add bread crumbs to the pan and mix to combine. 8. Spread the potato mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. 9. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and breadcrumbs are golden. 10. Let cool before serving.
