Spicy Onion and Potato Pakoras

Steps

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions and grated potatoes. 2. Add chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the vegetables. 3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. 4. Once the oil is hot, take small portions of the mixture and gently drop them into the oil. 5. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. 6. Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. 7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
