Spicy Masala Aloo Tikki

A classic Indian snack made from mashed potatoes mixed with aromatic spices, shallow-fried to crispy perfection. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, served with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.

Steps

1. In a bowl, combine mashed potato, onion, green chili, coriander leaves, chaat masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and cornflour. 2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. 3. Divide the mixture into a small ball and flatten gently to form a patty. 4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 5. Place the patty in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy on one side, about 3-4 minutes. 6. Flip and cook the other side similarly. 7. Remove from pan and drain excess oil on paper towels. 8. Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
