Grilled Mediterranean Octopus

Tender octopus grilled to perfection with a zesty lemon and garlic marinade, served with a fresh herb salad. This dish highlights the natural flavors of the sea with a vibrant Mediterranean twist.

Steps

1. Rinse the octopus tentacle under cold water. 2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and simmer the octopus for 45 minutes until tender. 3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. 4. Drain the octopus and let it cool slightly, then marinate it in the mixture for 15 minutes. 5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. 6. Grill the octopus for 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and crispy. 7. Toss mixed greens with capers and chopped parsley. 8. Plate the grilled octopus on top of the salad, garnish with a lemon wedge, and drizzle any remaining marinade over the dish. 9. Serve immediately.
