Duck with Potato Mash and Mushroom Sauce

A classic yet tasty duck dish, combining potato mash and a creamy mushroom sauce

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. 2. Place duck leg on an oven proof tray, season with salt and pepper and bake for 30 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, roughly chop potatoes and cook in a pot of boiling water until tender. 4. Chop onion and mushrooms and sauté in a pan with olive oil. 5. Once softened, add white wine and let reduce. 6. Once the duck leg is cooked, remove from oven and let rest. 7. To assemble the dish, mash potatoes with butter, season with salt and pepper. 8. Place the duck leg on top and pour over the mushroom sauce.
