Garlic Butter Steamed Clams

Steps

1. Rinse the clams thoroughly under cold water to remove any sand. 2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 4. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. 5. Add the clams to the skillet, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-7 minutes until all clams have opened. 6. Discard any clams that do not open. 7. Stir in chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper. 8. Serve immediately with a lemon wedge on the side.
