Creamy Spinach and Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast

A delicious and healthy main dish combining tender chicken breast with a creamy spinach and mushroom filling. Perfectly balanced flavors and simple preparation make it ideal for a wholesome meal.

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, sauté for 3-4 minutes until mushrooms soften. 3. Add chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. 4. Stir in cream cheese, salt, and pepper until mixture is creamy and combined. 5. Cut a horizontal slit in the chicken breast to create a pocket. Stuff the pocket with the spinach and mushroom mixture. 6. Secure with toothpicks if needed, and season the outside of the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. 7. Place chicken breast in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C). 8. Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top and broil for 1-2 minutes until golden. 9. Remove toothpicks before serving. Serve hot.
