Creamy Chicken Pineapple Bake with Cheese and Herbs

A deliciously creamy baked chicken dish combining tender chicken, sweet pineapple, fresh herbs, sour cream, and melted cheese for a perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. 3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and lightly sear the chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden. 4. Place the seared chicken in a small baking dish. 5. Spread the pineapple chunks evenly over the chicken. 6. Mix sour cream with chopped herbs and spread this mixture over the pineapple and chicken. 7. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and golden. 9. Remove from oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
