Chocolate Hazelnut Mini Apple Charlotte

A creative twist on the classic apple charlotte using a minimal amount of apples paired with roasted hazelnuts and rich dark chocolate for a delightful balance of flavors and textures.

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Lightly butter a small ramekin. 3. Cut brioche slice into strips and use to line the ramekin. 4. Mix sliced apples with cinnamon and a teaspoon of sugar. 5. Place a small layer of apple slices at the bottom of the lined ramekin. 6. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts and chocolate over the apples. 7. Repeat layering until ingredients are used up, finishing with brioche strips on top. 8. Beat egg with remaining sugar and gently pour over the ingredients in the ramekin. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and set. 10. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
