Traditional Ethiopian Doro Wat

Steps

1) Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. 2) Add chopped onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. 3) Add the chicken drumsticks and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4) Add ginger, allspice, chili powder, turmeric, and paprika. Stir for 1-2 minutes. 5) Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. 6) Serve with injera.
