Steps

1. Score the skin of the duck breast in a criss-cross pattern and season with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the duck breast skin-side down and cook for 5-6 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown. 3. Flip the duck breast and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare or adjust cooking time according to desired doneness. 4. Remove the duck breast from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. 5. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add honey, orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. 6. Stir in the butter until melted and well combined. 7. Slice the rested duck breast and drizzle the orange glaze over the slices. 8. Serve hot and enjoy!
