Makhana and Groundnut Energy Balls

These healthy energy balls combine the crunch of makhana (fox nuts) with the nutty flavor of groundnut powder and the sweetness of jaggery powder. Perfect for a quick snack or post-workout boost!

Steps

1. In a dry pan, lightly roast the makhana on medium heat until they are crispy. Allow them to cool. 2. Once cooled, crush the makhana into coarse pieces using a rolling pin or food processor. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed makhana, groundnut powder, jaggery powder, honey, cardamom powder, and salt. 4. Mix everything well until it forms a sticky mixture. If using, add desiccated coconut at this stage. 5. With your hands, form small balls from the mixture, ensuring they hold together. 6. Place the energy balls on a plate and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set. 7. Enjoy your nutritious energy balls as a snack or a quick bite!
