Steps

1. Rinse clams under cold water to remove any sand. 2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 4. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. 5. Add the clams to the skillet, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-7 minutes, or until all clams have opened. 6. Discard any unopened clams. 7. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and squeeze the lemon wedge over the top. 8. Serve immediately with crusty bread or over pasta if desired.
