Steps

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 3. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their moisture and become golden, about 5-7 minutes. 4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes to thicken. 5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. 6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. 7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
