Cheesy Baked Potato

This classic dish is made with a cheesy and creamy topping, perfect to serve as a main. It's a great one-person meal.

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F/200 C. 2. Wash and scrub the potatoes and dry them with a paper towel. 3. Prick the potatoes several times with a fork. 4. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. 5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until they are cooked through. 6. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. 7. Add in the heavy cream and stir to combine. 8. Take off the heat and stir in the grated cheese, salt and garlic powder. 9. Once the potatoes are done, slice them in a cross-wise pattern and spread open slightly. 10. Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes and place back into the oven for 5-7 minutes. 11. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
