Strawberry Balsamic Chicken

This delightful dish combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the savory flavor of grilled chicken, drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Perfect for a light yet satisfying main course, it's both elegant and easy to prepare.

Steps

1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breast and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. 3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the balsamic reduction. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until it thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. 4. Once the chicken is done cooking, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes. 5. In the same skillet, add the sliced strawberries and sauté them for about 2 minutes until just softened. 6. Slice the chicken breast and arrange it on a plate. Top with the sautéed strawberries and drizzle the balsamic reduction over the top. 7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve immediately.
