Seared Scallops with Lemon Garlic Butter

Steps

1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. 3. Place scallops in the skillet, making sure they don’t touch, and sear for 2 minutes without moving them. 4. Flip the scallops and add butter and garlic to the pan. 5. Cook for another 2 minutes, spooning the melted butter and garlic over the scallops. 6. Remove scallops from heat, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with chopped parsley. 7. Serve immediately while warm.
