1. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and line two small 10cm cake tins. 2. In a bowl, whisk the egg and sugar until light and fluffy. 3. Stir in the melted butter and milk. 4. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground almonds. Fold into the wet mixture gently. 5. Fold in chopped prunes. 6. Divide the batter evenly between the two cake tins and bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Allow cakes to cool completely. 8. For the filling, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and chopped prunes until smooth. 9. Spread the filling over one cake layer and top with the second layer. 10. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or garnish with a prune on top before serving.
