Classic Creamy Houmous

A smooth and creamy Middle Eastern dip made from blended chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. Perfect as a healthy snack or appetizer, served with pita bread or fresh vegetables.

Steps

1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and minced garlic. 2. Blend until the mixture is smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. 3. While blending, slowly add olive oil and water until the houmous reaches your desired creamy consistency. 4. Add ground cumin and salt to taste, then blend briefly to mix. 5. Transfer to a serving dish, drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. 6. Serve with pita bread, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks.
