Steps

1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant. 3. Stir in turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala; cook for 30 seconds. 4. Add pureed tomato and cook for 5 minutes until oil starts to separate. 5. Mix in yogurt and salt, then add chicken pieces. Stir well to coat the chicken with the masala. 6. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. 7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
