Steps
1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and green chili; sauté until translucent.
2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Add shredded jackfruit, garam masala, coriander, cardamom, cumin powder, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
5. Transfer to a bowl, add chickpea flour and chopped coriander. Mix well and shape into a patty.
6. Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil and cook the patty on medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes each side.
7. For the chutney, blend yogurt, mint leaves, roasted cumin powder, and salt until smooth.
8. Toast the burger bun lightly. Spread mint-yogurt chutney on the bun base.
9. Place lettuce leaves, the jackfruit patty, and tomato slices on the bun. Cover with the top bun.
10. Serve hot and enjoy your Awadhi style jackfruit patty burger!
